Providing detailed design implemetation and on-site consultancy for the Berkeley Festival Waterfront Company, PLC undertook masterplanning of the site along with designing and overseeing the Phase 1 residential development. The complex today consists of 312 residential units and associated commercial, retail and leisure elements with support facilities including tall ships berthing.
New Marina facilities building for Premier Marina in Gosport
An ‘organic’ structure in the centre of Poole Harbour Marina, undertaken for the Poole Harbour Commissioners, that provides berth holder facilities and office accommodation for the marina manager.
Masterplanning of a new 300 berth marina and associated shoreside facilities, inclusive of a 60-bed hotel, together with commercial and residential units, parking and landscaping, with a focus on integrating with and enhancing the town of East Cowes. The site also incorporates part of the historic East Cowes Esplanade, requiring regular consultation with conservation officers, English Heritage and other conservation groups.
Tasked with the regeneration of the waterfront, primarily focused around the introduction of a new docking facility for large cruise ships.
A variety of masterplan options were prepared, the chosen option providing a waterfront development reflecting the history and culture of the islands, providing an appropriate welcome to visitors.
